We're BACK!

Hi everyone, sorry we've been gone for a while, we've been playing lots! So much has happened since our last blog.

Lily's Time
 Well after our last blog I got to meet another member of my family! I was so excited because I kept hearing about Tyler and I knew I'd love him right away. Lulu had already met him, but I hadn't and now that I know him, I love him!! He even went with me when I had to go get some shots, he's just the best! That wasn't the only time I had to go to the doctor though. I had to go earlier because Mom, Meg and Chris(my trainer) thought I might have a problem, and so I went to the doctor. I really hate being in the car, and at first I thought Meg was going to leave me in the car, so I ran to her seat, and I had an accident. She was a little upset, but she told me it would be ok, put me on my seat and gave me a treat. Turns out the doctor, NOT SCARY AT ALL! There are so many nice people there and they gave me really yummy treats! Lulu and I have been getting along great! We even get to eat the same food now! Mom bought us this Grain-Free dog food from Two Paws Up (my favorite store) and it's so delicious that I just want to eat it all the time. We still have to eat separately because I'll eat Lulu's food, and she'll eat some of mine. Mom is smart though, she knows how distracted I get and keeps me in the hallway with the doors closed so I remember that I'm eating. Other good news, my teeth aren't hurting me as much, which I know makes my family happy because I'm not chewing on them quite as much. I still love going wherever Lulu goes, except when she's going outside I like to take her toys, but Mom and Meg make me give them up and go outside too. But I'm so happy I get to spend everyday with my best friend Lulu.

This little one really keeps me on my toes! She always wants to play and has too much energy for me. Sometimes she just starts barking at me to play. I look at Meg and Grandma R and just ignore her. But I do love Lily! When she's in her room because it's bed time or it's almost time to wake up I lay outside of her room if she's crying. We have lots of fun together. I'm so happy I got to see another familiar face! Seeing Tyler was so much fun, I love him so much! I even got to see my Mom on Skype! It was so cool! I know she's far away but thankfully she's able to see me in all the pictures we've taken and through Skype. Just like Lily I had to go to the Doctor, but I had to go so everyone could make sure I had all my shots I needed to live in Maryland. I'm really loving living here!

Sorry we haven't been blogging, we've been getting to know each other. This past week has been pretty crazy. Lulu came to Maryland last Tuesday and I think she was a little confused.  She definitely didn't like me, or that's what I think all of that growling at me was. I just wanted to play so I jumped around and barked, but she's a little bit older and way more relaxed than me. I think it's because she's lived in the South and the West Coast, and they're all pretty chill out there. I'm from face paced NOVA (Northern Virginia) and I just love running around. It got to the point where Mom had to buy us baby gates and keep us separated. I just wanted to be with Lulu so I kept trying to jump the gate, I'm not quite big enough, but I'm sure one day I'll get it. Then the oddest thing happened, on Monday, Mom took us both outside and neither of us had to wear our leashes. It was so awesome! The big white thing that's in our yard, called a fence, makes it so we can't run away and boy is it great. We spend so much time outside and it doesn't hurt that it's nice a warm with a cool breeze. I'm still going to puppy class, Lulu doesn't have to go, because she's so good. I'm learning so much now, I even know that when Mom puts my mat down that's where she wants me.

Lily is one crazy pup. I finally get off this HUGE metal thing, that Momma R says my Michael can fly, and then I have to get in the car. I do not like riding in cars, it's not fun! So I finally get to go inside a house, and neither my Mom or my Michael are there, and then I see this crazy little puppy named, Lily. Mom warned me about Lily, but I didn't realize just how crazy she really is. She ALWAYS wants to play, and is always at my side. If I go somewhere so does she, and that can get pretty annoying when I just want my space. Luckily, I found out that there is a nice yard here, just like at home. It's not as big as the one I have at home, but it's really great there's lots of sun and some shaded spots for when I get hot. Momma R and Pops always have water out here for us to drink too, which I'm very grateful for. Lily and I like to play outside. I think the extra space, and freedom have really helped our friendship. Well, it's nap time now, I plan on writing lots more later, but Lily and I have been playing all morning so I just need to rest now.

Introducing LuluBelle

Hello, everyone! My name is LuluBelle, LuLu for short. I am 4 years old and I'm from Alabama, but my Mom and my Michael brought me to Florida to live with them, and that's where my story starts. Because of my Michael's job we've had to move around a lot. After we left Florida we lived in Texas, it was really hot there! And then we moved to Washington State, when it came down to it Mom and Michael let me pick where I wanted to live (they had two choices) and I picked Washington State. But now my Michael's job is taking the to this place called Japan and I can't go with them. I know it makes my Mom and my Michael sad, but I get to go live with Momma R and her family. I'm very excited because I've heard of Lily but I've never met her before.

Right now Momma R is here, she's getting me ready for my big trip to the East Coast. I've never lived in Maryland before, so this is just another state to add to my already growing list! My Mom is acting a little crazy here is a picture of her trying to explain what I have to do for my trip. What she doesn't know is I already know how to do this, but it's fun to watch her.

I hear Lily is a little crazy, but that's ok I've got a friend out here named Goose, and he's pretty crazy. I know it doesn't seem like it in this picture but Goose, is one crazy Vizsla.

School Days

GUESS WHAT?!? I get to go to puppy school! I love it. It's so close to my house so I don't have to be in the car for very long! When I got there I got to play with all kinds of puppies and it was so much fun. I'm learning all sorts of new things, and when I'm good I get a treat! I'm trying so hard at home to be a good girl but sometimes I get so excited to be around my family that I forget.

Yesterday was especially hard, Mom and Megan took me to Petsmart! There were all kinds of smells and dogs there. I met a dog who looked just like me, but much bigger. I was so good though, Mom and Megan gave me lots of treats.

After Petsmart we went to another store. Everyone there is so nice! I was so sleepy when I was there but everyone kept calling me so cute and petting me. I hope I get to go back there soon!

Weekday Crazies

     This week was pretty awesome! On Tuesday, Megan was home, AND MOM TOO!! Well, Mom wasn't feeling well so for the morning it was just me and Megan. We walked around outside and played and then it was time for a nap. Instead of laying on the couch or in my bed Megan picked me up and we went and laid down on Mom's big white bed. I was so nervous I was going to have an accident, but I didn't! For the rest of the day Meg and I explored the woods near my house. There all sorts of different animal smells! There are so many big sticks I want to just chew on!

    On Wednesday I was in my crazy puppy stage, and I was not making Megan happy. We played but I kept biting her and I would not take a nap. It's not my fault though, I was just super happy Megan was here. I just wanted to play lots and this one time I was trying to play and I got a little too excited and sort of bit her cheek. She was very upset with me, and I felt so badly that I bit her. After that I decided to just try and bite her pants and hair. I was pretty much crazy until I was ready for bed.

    Thursday, I was so happy Megan was home, AGAIN! I think she just loves me so she doesn't want to leave me. We went on all kinds of exploring around the house. We went further into the woods than I ever went before. When we went inside, Dad was home too! I couldn't believe it, I was so happy to see him. He kept calling me "Shadow" which I don't get. (Note: I later found out it was because I was by his side all morning just like his shadow.) Then he went outside to do something and I was very sad so Megan took me out to see him. He was doing something very loud, but I wasn't scared at all, just very curious. Then, Dad picked up part of a tree! It was so cool! At my house there is this large cage with a house in it, Megan put some of my toys, food and water in there so I wanted to go in. But she left me in there while Dad did stuff around me, I was so upset with them. 

     Finally, Dad took me inside to see Megan. We just hung out all day she was busy making band tee-shirts for Ben's band; to be honest I wanted one but don't think dogs are allowed in their shows. After she was done making them she made me get in the car. I don't know why I have to get in the car, but I'm glad I did! We went to see Mom at work again, and I got to meet Mr.Dave and Mrs.Shatto. Megan and I went running around downtown and I got to meet all kinds of people and dogs, it was so fun! When I got back in the car to go home I was so sleepy that I wasn't scared. I slept until Mom got home and even then I just cuddled mostly with her and slept.

     I do NOT like Fridays. I was home all by myself all day. I hated it. Mom came home and then about an hour and a half later Megan came home. I was a little upset with them and wanted their full and undivided attention so I had a little bit of the puppy crazies. Then I crashed I was so sleepy. I fell asleep with my duck. I love my duck!!

Wild Weekend

Oh boy, oh boy, WHAT A WEEKEND! So first, on Saturday I thought I was going to have to be home all by myself, but Megan and Ben came and set me free! They had some really good smelling food that Ben made, and how rude-they didn't give me any! Then I had to go back in my crate :-( But I was only in there for a little bit because Megan came back home and let me play!

Just a note: I'm teething and like to bite things, all things.

I was biting Megan, a lot, so she decided to take me on a walk. While we were out on the driveway I heard a crazy dog barking and wanted to get back to my porch as soon as possible. I ran all the way up the hill to get to my house.

I was still too excited to be inside, so we went on another walk. We walked all the way to the end of the driveway! You know what is at the end of my driveway? Theres a road but more importantly theres a house with 2 other dogs. Dixie and Daisy! I think Daisy and I are going to be best friends. We played together for a half an hour, it was so fun! Megan and I ran back to the house. When we got there I saw the neighbor's dog Bonnie. I met Bonnie, she's a Pit Bull and so nice! When I got inside I realized Dad was there. I was so happy to see him, and not long after Mom came home! I had such a fun Saturday!

On Sunday, Mom took me in the car, not fun! But when we got out of the car I saw she took me a park, Pinecliff Park. It's so close to my house and there were no people there, it was so great! I love my new mom so much!! The rest of Sunday I spent hanging out and playing with Mom and Dad. Megan and Ben came over for an hour but left to go somewhere.

Now I know Monday isn't usually a day of the weekend, but Mom was home all day! I had to go in the car again, I got a little nervous and had an accident on Mom's front seat. (I'm just glad I didn't crawl in her lap!) We went to see Dr. Furie at New Market Animal Hospital. I love her!! It turns out I'm 3 months old, and probably won't be a big dog. I had such a big day today! Well it's time for me to go to bed! Goodnight everyone!
